The registration process of the pilgrims who are intending to perform Hajj this year under private management will begin today.
This was revealed yesterday at a press conference organised by Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) in the capital.
“The registration will start from today and we will announce the registration closing date later,” HAAB Secretary General M Shahadat Hossain Taslim told journalists.
The government fixed the lowest package under private management at Taka 3,32,868 this year.

The intending pilgrims will have to pay the entire money to the Hajj agencies by April 15.
A Hajj agency could send a highest of 300 pilgrims and a minimum of 150 pilgrims from Bangladesh.
Earlier on February 22, the ministry published a list of serial numbers of Hajj pilgrims, who will be able to enroll in the final Hajj registration this year.
The Hajj pilgrims have also been asked to submit scanned copies of passports during the e-Hajj registration process, it added.
